The pin contacts are on the plug (free end, with locking screws); the socket contacts are on the receptacle (fixed end, with threaded inserts).

Mate a jackscrew (JC) end with a threaded-insert (TH) end: Nano-D connectors are too small to feel full mating, so screw coupling makes sure the connector is fully seated.

Send us the contact count, termination and thread type, and we will return the full part number with a drawing.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between J7245 and J7245A?

Only the locking thread: J7245 uses imperial 0-80 UNF threads, J7245A uses metric M1.6 threads.

How much current can a Nano-D contact carry?

1 A per contact. For higher current, consider our Micro-D connectors (3 A per contact).

Can J7245 replace the Nano-D connector I use now?

J7245 is built to GJB 7245-2011, which corresponds to MIL-DTL-32139, with the same 0.635 mm pitch and 0-80 UNF locking threads. Send us the Nano-D part number or drawing you use today. We will propose the matching configuration and can supply samples for your own mating test.
