Nano-D Connectors

0.635 mm pitch ultra-miniature connectors with twist-pin contacts, for the tightest spaces on boards and in harnesses.

Nano-D connectors halve the contact spacing of Micro-D to 0.635 mm, so a 69-contact connector fits where a much smaller Micro-D would. They use gold-plated micro twist pins and a metal shell with threaded locking hardware.

Our J7245 series is built to GJB 7245-2011, which corresponds to MIL-DTL-32139. It is available with metric (M1.6) or imperial (0-80 UNF) locking threads and with crimp, PCB and surface-mount terminations.

How to choose

Replacing an existing Nano-D

Send us the MIL-DTL-32139 or manufacturer part number you use today. We match it to a J7245 configuration and can supply samples for your mating test.

Contact count

Nine standard sizes: 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51, 65 and 69 contacts, all in two rows.

Locking thread

J7245 uses 0-80 UNF threads; J7245A uses metric M1.6 threads.

Termination

Crimp to wire, straight or right-angle PCB, horizontal or vertical surface mount, or straddle mount.

Wire size

Crimp versions are terminated to 0.035 mm² wire.

Options beyond the standard connector

Pre-wired Nano-D assemblies

Terminated to your cable, length and pin-out.

Micro-D (1.27 mm pitch)

Higher current and larger wire where space allows.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Nano-D and Micro-D?

Nano-D uses 0.635 mm contact spacing, half of Micro-D's 1.27 mm. It saves space and weight but carries less current per contact (1 A versus 3 A for our Micro-D).

Which locking thread should I choose?

Choose J7245 (0-80 UNF) when the mating half or panel uses imperial hardware, and J7245A (M1.6) for metric designs.

Can you supply Nano-D connectors pre-wired?

Yes. Send the pin-out, wire type and length with your inquiry.
