Explosion-Proof Circular Connectors
Flameproof and increased-safety circular connectors for oil, gas, chemical and offshore hazardous areas, with Ex component certificates to GB 3836.
In oil and gas production, refineries, chemical plants and offshore platforms, a connector must not become an ignition source for the surrounding atmosphere.
FBG connectors are flameproof (Ex db IIC T6 Gb): they contain an internal explosion. FBZ connectors use increased safety (Ex ec IIC T4 Gc) and are sealed to IP68. Both have stainless-steel shells in sizes 9 to 25 and hold Ex component certificates to the Chinese GB 3836 standards, which are aligned with IEC 60079.

How to choose
Zone and protection type
FBG (Gb, flameproof) for higher-risk zones; FBZ (Gc, increased safety) where equipment protection level c is enough.
Temperature class
FBG: T6 (≤ 85 °C). FBZ: T4 (≤ 135 °C).
Water and dust
FBZ is sealed to IP68.
Certification
Both are Ex components; tell us the certification your equipment needs and we will review it.
