VPX & High-Speed Backplane Connectors

VPX hybrid and VITA 46 high-speed backplane connectors for rugged embedded computing — differential, RF, fiber and power in one interface.

Rugged embedded computers for rail, industry, test and communication use VPX backplanes to move multi-gigabit data, RF and optical signals between boards under vibration and temperature extremes.

Our VPX connectors combine 6.25 Gbps differential, VITA 67 RF (to 40 GHz), VITA 66 MT fiber and 8 A power modules; RT2 is a pinless VITA 46 backplane system with 100 ± 15 Ω controlled impedance, expandable to 10 Gbps.

For stacked boards, SYSOLC / SYTOLC four-row SMT mezzanine connectors carry 20 to 200 contacts on a 1.27 mm pitch at up to 10 Gbps.
