J30J is our standard metal-shell Micro-D connector. Gold-plated twist-pin contacts on a 1.27 mm grid give a high contact count in a small, light connector that keeps reliable contact under vibration and shock.

Pre-wired versions are supplied with 0.12 mm² AFR-250 white wire, 300 mm long, unless you specify otherwise. Wire type, size (0.10–0.15 mm²), color and length can be specified in brackets after the part number.

Cadmium finish (G) is not RoHS compliant and is supplied only on request; nickel is the standard finish.

Can J30J replace the Micro-D connector I use now?
J30J is built to GJB 2446, the Chinese counterpart of MIL-DTL-83513, with the same 1.27 mm pitch and twist-pin contact system. Send us the Micro-D part number or drawing you use today. We will propose the matching J30J configuration and can supply samples for your own mating test.
Which contact counts are available?
12 standard sizes: 5, 9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51, 66, 74, 100 and 144 contacts. Other layouts can be made to order.
Do you make hermetic or sealed Micro-D connectors?
Yes. The J30J M variant is potted (resin) sealed, and the M1 variant is glass-sealed (hermetic). Leak rate is tested to your requirement, including third-party testing on request.
When should I choose a stainless-steel shell?
For marine, outdoor or corrosive environments. Stainless-steel shells are rated for 1000 h salt spray, compared with 48 h for aluminum-alloy shells.
