XC Bayonet Circular Connectors with Hyperboloid Contacts

GJB 2889 bayonet · hyperboloid sockets · 1–62 contacts · 5–40 A

XC is a family of bayonet circular connectors built to GJB 2889. Hyperboloid wire-spring sockets give smooth mating and low contact resistance, and the same 32 layouts in shells 14 to 39 are offered with crimp (XC), solder (XCH, CXCH), PCB (XCB), glass-sealed and through-bulkhead contacts. CXCH-01 adds a heavier shell wall, and XCG is a waterproof version that mates with XC.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between XC and XCA?

They share the same layouts and contacts. XCA is the marine-environment version with stainless-steel options and 240 h acid salt spray testing; XC is the standard family with crimp, solder, PCB and hermetic versions.

Does XCG mate with XC?

Yes — XCG is the waterproof version and mates with XC plugs and receptacles of the same shell and layout.
