GDM Optical-Electrical Hybrid Underwater Connectors
Power + 4 optical fibers · 4.5 MPa mated · single-mode or multimode
GDM carries power and optical data through one underwater connector. Power contacts and four optical contacts share a sealed metal shell with radial and axial sealing and a vulcanized watertight backshell. It withstands 4.5 MPa hydrostatic pressure when mated and can be mated with water on the contact faces.
