J599A8 38999 Series III-Type Multi-Fiber Optical Connectors

J599A8 carries 2 to 32 optical fibers in a 38999 Series III-type shell with triple-start threaded coupling. Removable crimp termini with ceramic ferrules and alignment sleeves follow ARINC 801, for multimode or single-mode fiber, and the shells are made for marine environments in aluminum, stainless steel or titanium.

No — termini are ordered separately, so you can choose single-mode or multimode for each connector. Tell us the fiber type and we will list the matching termini.
J599A8 or expanded-beam J599E8?
J599A8 uses physical-contact ceramic ferrules for low insertion loss. J599E8 uses expanded-beam optics that tolerate dirt and are easier to clean in the field. Send your loss budget and environment and we will recommend one.
