TVS Transient-Protection Connectors, Marine Grade

Surge, lightning and ESD protection in the connector

TVS connectors put transient-voltage-suppression devices inside the connector, between each protected contact and the shell. They protect electronics against load switching, indirect lightning, electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic pulses without extra circuit boards, and keep the size and weight of a standard connector.
