J599 Series III Circular Connectors (38999 Series III Type)
38999 Series III type · shell sizes 9–25 · 184 insert arrangements

C or π filter per contact · up to 55 dB · marine grade
These filter connectors add a planar low-pass filter to every contact of a 38999 Series III-type connector, so EMI/RFI is removed right at the enclosure wall. They keep the triple-start threaded coupling and mating interface of the standard connector and are built for marine environments with acid salt spray, acid atmosphere and mould resistance.

DC filter connectors must not be used on AC supply lines.
Tell us about surge voltages, inductive loads (relays, motors) and any conducted-susceptibility test requirements before selection.
Do not test filter connectors with a megger or AC hipot above the rated values.
Choose the capacitance from the frequency you need to suppress: the table lists cut-off frequency and minimum insertion loss from 1 to 100 MHz. π circuits give steeper attenuation. Send us your signal frequencies and we will recommend values per contact.
Yes. It keeps the standard mating interface and dimensions, so the wiring stays the same.
Yes. Different contacts can have different capacitance or no filter at all; tell us the pin-out.
Part number, drawing, pin-out or a short description of your application.
Our engineers match the configuration and reply with a drawing and quotation.
Samples are made to your order. Third-party testing to your specification is available on request.
You test the samples in your own equipment and approve them.
Production follows the approved sample configuration.
Send your part number, pin-out or drawing. An engineer will reply by email.
