J599HR is a shielded plug for severe vibration and shock. It mates with our standard J599 Series III receptacles and keeps the triple-start thread, but a composite double-locking anti-decoupling coupling nut holds it without lock wire. Shock rating is 400 g against 300 g for the standard plug, and the plug is up to 42 % lighter in stainless steel.

Yes — J599HR is a plug designed for our J599 Series III receptacles and uses the same insert arrangements. For receptacles from other makers, send the part number and we will propose samples for your mating test.

Why is no lock wire needed?

The composite coupling nut has a double-locking anti-decoupling mechanism that holds under the rated vibration and shock, so installation and maintenance are faster.
