J599G keeps the GJB 599 Series III performance and triple-start thread, and adds a coupling mechanism that tells the installer the connector is fully mated without looking. When the plug reaches its end position the coupling nut slips with a ratchet-like metallic click — useful in tight, dark or blind locations where coupling cannot be checked by eye.

Frequently asked questions

How does the full-mate indication work?

Push the plug in and turn the coupling nut clockwise. The triple-start thread draws the plug home; when it can travel no further the nut slips with a ratchet-like metallic click, so you know by feel and sound that the connector is fully mated.
